Notion Calendar lets you add and customize events with an array of customization options.
Additionally, Notion Calendar is beginner-friendly and has a shallow learning curve.
So without further ado, lets explore Notion Calendar together.
How to Set Up Notion Calendar
1. Visit Notion Calendar and sign in using your Google account.
NOTE: Notion Calendar requires access to many Google Services, which may look intimidating. This, however, is necessary since Notion Calendar works on top of Google Calendar.
2. That's it, we are now ready to dive into Notion Calendar.
How to Use Notion Calendar
Here is an empty calendar to get started:

Events
To create a new event, drag your cursor across the calendar timeline, e.g. from 10:00 -> 11:00.

Now lets use the right side bar to customize our event.
- Give your event a title, e.g. Exam Revision, then press Enter to save the event.
- You may also re-schedule events here, however I would recommend dragging the event block for easier event rescheduling.
- Change the color of an event by right clicking and selecting your preferred color.
- Use Repeat to schedule an event to re-occur at specified intervals. E.g. Repeat the event titled "School" from "8:00 -> 15:00" on "Monday -> Friday" every week.
- Add extra participants for a particular event, and this event will appear in their Notion Calendar interface.
- Schedule a conferencing call for an event with Zoom or Google Meet.
- Set Reminders to receive a notification prior to your event starting; handy for deadlines or important meetings.

Scenario: A Busy Student
Ok, so you are a busy student and you have finished reading this article.
Lets create an ideal calendar template together, applying everything we have learnt so far.
Here is a calendar template I created in only 2 minutes:

- I have set three events: "Morning Routine", "Evening Routine", and "Dinner" that repeat daily.
- I have set the event "Gym" that repeats every Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
- Lastly, I have created an event "School" to block off school time; this event repeats every Monday->Friday.
Use this template to schedule more events, such as social gatherings or extra-curricular activities.
You may also schedule deadlines by navigating to the specific date using the .
shortcut, then create an "All-Day" event with reminders. E.g. "Programming Coursework due for April 5th" from the template above.
